Hormone Restoration Therapy
Hormone Restoration Therapy (HRT) may be an important treatment option for both women and men. HRT works to restore your hormone balance through the use of hormones that are biologically identical to the hormones your body naturally produces. This is a 45-minute consultation.
How Do I Start?
- Ask your health care provider about HRT and let them know that Live Oak Pharmacy offers professional compounding services. If you don't have a health care provider we can make several recommendations.
- You'll set up your consultation with our patient care pharmacist. We recommend a saliva test for determining proper doses. Your health care provider can administer the test or kits are available in our stores if you prefer*. Before your consultation you'll fill out your BHRT Patient Information and Health Summary Form in the convenience of your home. *Salvia test kits are not included in the consultation fee.
- During your initial consultation, your patient care pharmacist will discuss your symptoms, review your saliva test results and work with you and with your permission, contact your primary care provider to create a unique formulation along with other pharmaceutical grade supplements for your customized plan.
Consultations are offered on Tuesday and Wednesdays between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. or by appointment on Monday, Thursday, Friday or Saturdays.
